i want to get a portable gps for under $300. i want to know what people think is the best one to get. i hear alot about the garmin nuvi’s but there are so many of them.

Can I use it Garmin nüvi 350 3.5-Inch Portable GPS Navigator in Baghdad Iraq , and what is needed to make any GPS device to work , does it need internet or subscription , or specific provide … ?

I am looking to buy a portable gps system that I could move from car to car.

My husband wants a GPS system for his car for Christmas. I know nothing about these things. I’ve seen the Tom Tom’s, and Garmins, but I’m not sure what to look for. He just wants something basic, nothing too fancy with a gazillion features. But not the cheapest one either. Any suggestions? Thanks!
